Born in 1970 in Chongqing, China, Zhang Xiaotao graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1996, founded the New Media Art Department of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2010, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a PhD in 2016<\/span>, is a visiting professor at the City University of Hong Kong, and now lives in Beijing.<\/p>\n Zhang Xiaotao is one of the representative figures of the new generation of new media art in China.
